Yes!! Spanish people in football matches, basketball, F1 race etc.... When the National Anthem plays they sing the melody yelling: "Na, Na, Na, Na, Naaaaa....".
Actually the Spanish National Anthem was originally a Military march called "Marcha Granadera", composed in the mid 18th century, that had no words. It was often used to honor the King, so soon it was commonly known as "Marcha Real" still with no words. It was soon used as a National Anthem... also with no words, and queen Isabella II made that formal and legal... adding no words.
So it has no words because it wasn't intended to be an anthem and didn't originally have them, and they were never (officially) added: Simple enough.
Some proposed versions of unofficial lyrics have been fairly popular during different time periods, but never really used.

This might sound peculiar (it is), but sometimes (big sporting events, etc.) people just sing out loud "Na, Na, Na, Na, Naaaaa....", as you can see in this video of Spanish football cup final:
